About Us
Shad Thoraldson
I graduated from Arizona State University in 2006, and spent the next decade working in the property management sector. I bring operational knowledge to PALs, and have worked to infuse that experience to compliment the already robust clinical pillars that our program is built upon.
Since joining PALs in 2015, I have worked tirelessly to modernize the platform and improve upon the vast capabilities that our program equips its users with. PALs Platinum is the most comprehensive release of the program to date, and we are always striving to find new ways to integrate requests from our users.
Thomas Patten
After completing a Master Of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University Of Minnesota in 1981, I launched my first assisted living community in Duluth, MN. Since that time, I have established communities in both the public (non-profit) and private sectors, and have created programs for frail, hospice, rehabilitation, and memory care residents.
Developed in 2000, PALs was the first software of its kind. It spawned from a growing need to streamline operations and maximize efficiency within assisted living settings. I take great pride in providing a highly versatile and affordable software solution, that ultimately leads to better care for the residents and clientele that it serves.
