As an alternative to using our electronic eMAR documentation feature, PALs enables you to print numerous Med Administration Record (MAR) formats, enter medications and med management profiles using drop down lists, carry over instructions/effects/side effects from previous entries.
Supervision / Nursing Notes
Enter progress notes, or detail notes with a "focus" related to service plan supervision, med orders, assessment, family contact, incident reports, and more. If your state requires that a resident plan of care is "Supervised", PALs can notify you when the 6 month visit is due.
As an alternative to using our eSAR feature, PALs can generate paper SAR forms and shift assignment sheets for your staff to document service administration. Create resident schedules, modify service agreements as residents' needs change, and chart differences in planned vs. actual minutes.
Our Nursing Alert Menu works in conjunction with vital recording to prompt you of substantial changes in certain areas of the data recorded here. If using eMAR/eSAR, staff can be automatically prompted to enter vitals while administering medications or services to residents.
